Like other electricity providers, Xoom Energy runs a credit check on new customers. If your credit score isn’t up to the company’s standard, you may be required to pay a deposit before your service begins. Xoom Energy will waive this deposit requirement in some cases.
Xoom Energy charges early termination fees (ETFs) for its fixed-rate plans. These range from $150 to $395, depending on the length of your contract. Consider a variable-rate plan if you’d rather avoid an ETF.
