Who can sign up for supply plans?

Infinite Energy has served residential, commercial and industrial natural gas consumers in its home state of Florida since 1994, as well as Georgia since 1998 and New Jersey and New York since 2004. In Texas where only electricity is deregulated, the company began serving residential, commercial and industrial electric consumers in 2010.

What plans are available?

Infinite Energy plans are as varied as its available markets. Like most energy companies, Infinite Energy offers two main types of energy supply plan: variable and fixed. Variable-rate plans offer a rate structure that fluctuates based on market prices, while fixed-rate plans offer price protection over a term agreement. The company also offers different energy rates for commercial and industrial customers, with partial hedging plans that help businesses capitalize on a fluctuating energy market.

Why compare energy rates?

Energy choice gives consumers the option to shop energy rates and find the supply plan that fits their needs the best. Suppliers purchase wholesale energy supply from energy generators and sell directly to consumers, which may be a better price than what the utility can offer.

If you live in a state with energy choice, shopping for a new energy rate could save you money. For example, in Texas, electric consumers must select a supplier, also called a retail electric provider. However, many energy-choice states do not require that energy consumers choose a retail supplier and allow them to stay with the utility by default. If you don't shop to compare rates, you could end up paying more for your electricity or natural gas supply. Be sure to explore your options and see what suppliers such as Infinite Energy have to offer.
