Payless Power FAQs
After you’ve entered your ZIP code, select Payless Power from the providers option under our search filter. You can then browse the details of the Payless Power plans available in your area. When you’ve chosen your preferred plan, you can sign up online in a matter of minutes.
Typically, Payless Power plans have an ETF of $99, which applies if you cancel your contract early. However, there are exceptions to this. You can switch to another Payless Power plan within 30 days of signing up without paying a fee. You also won’t have to pay a cancellation fee if you terminate your contract because you’re moving out of the service area.
Payless Power has operated since 2005. It entered the market shortly after the deregulation of the electricity market in Texas in 2002.
That all depends on your energy needs. The shorter six-month prepaid plan is ideal if you prioritize flexibility or if you think you’ll be moving soon. Those who prefer longer-term stability should check out the 12-month option to lock in a prepaid electricity rate for a year.
