Average 12-Month Fixed-Rate Prices for Q4 2014
Welcome to the first installment of the SaveOnEnergy.com Electricity Rate Report, where we present to you the lowest rates available for a 12-month, fixed-rate electricity supply plan in various parts of the country. Today's report focuses in on Q4 2014 in the CenterPoint Energy and Oncor Energy utility service areas of Texas.
Our goal with this tool is to help our customers discover the most affordable rates available in their region without any bias towards a particular company or plan.* We've only just started compiling data, so with this introductory report we cannot analyze trends or numbers for past quarters, but as we collect more information we hope you'll be able to better predict your best bet for a new supply plan in the future. So let's get to it.
CenterPoint Service Area
Over the course of the fourth quarter, TXU Energy was the only retail electric provider in the utility area serviced by CenterPoint Energy to offer a supply plan with an average rate of lower than 10 cents/kWh.
