Georgia Natural Gas, also known as GNG, is one of many Georgia gas marketers. GNG gas customers can be found from the small northern mountain towns to the metro Atlanta area. In fact, GNG has almost half a million residential and commercial customers.

Natural gas supply plans

GNG gas plans include a Georgia Natural Gas Guaranteed Bill for customers. With this plan, customers will get the same bill for 12 months. It's not the same as a budget billing plan, because those plans usually require a payment or refund at the end of the year. This plan offers a flat bill amount based on previous gas usage, specific to each home. Not all of the Georgia gas marketers offer a guaranteed bill.

How to pay your Georgia Natural Gas rates

GNG offers a variety of payment options so consumers can pay their bill in the most convenient way. Customers can pay online, in-person or over the phone. Paying online can be fast and save money on postage costs. Plus, customers can pay online almost any time. In order to participate in online bill pay, customers need to have a copy of their bill so they can register their account. Online payments might take up to two days to process.

Customers can also pay at some Walmart or Kmart stores. They can pay their bill right at the Customer Service counter. Customers can also pay off a balance at Western Union payment stations. This payment method requires a processing fee and your payment may take up to two days to process.

Some consumers prefer to pay their bills by phone. These customers can call GNG if they want to pay over the phone using a checking account or savings account. GNG also accepts many cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Phone transactions can take up to two days to process.

Customers can also sign up for automatic bank drafts. Instead of having to make individual payments each month, GNG does the work and withdraws the necessary funds from a designated bank account. The drafts occur on or close to the due date on the bill.
