Constellation Energy received full marks for its 21 years of work in Texas and is accredited by the BBB. This company also scored well for online accessibility and the features is offers consumers. With threes or better in every category, Express Energy came in with a total score of 3.1 out of five. This is due to pros including a satisfaction guarantee, usage alerts, and an A+ BBB rating, balanced out by a lack of online chat and few years in business. First Choice Power

Overall score: 2.8 out of 5

An average P2C complaint score and lack of a satisfaction guarantee held First Choice Power back in customer service, while the company’s 70 years in business were offset by a lack of BBB accreditation. The lack of online chat and BBB ranking were factors in Frontier Utilities’ lower score here, but what really brought the company down was its lack of satisfaction guarantee combined with a low P2C complaint score. Just Energy is one of the most mature Texas providers, operating there for 18 years. The company’s score was brought down because it does not provide an online chat feature or offer a satisfaction guarantee. It also had a low P2C complaint score. Payless Power has operated in Texas for 15 years and has an excellent BBB rating. This company’s score was brought down because it does not offer a satisfaction guarantee or an online chat feature.
