  • Using SaveOnEnergy’s independent marketplace is the easiest way to compare 4Change Energy electric rates and plans. All you need to do is enter your ZIP code, and you’ll see a list of plans available in your area. From there, you can sort and filter based on your specific criteria — such as price, plan type, contract length, and more — and pick the plan that best matches your needs.

  • If you want to cancel a fixed-rate plan before it expires, 4Change Energy will charge an early termination fee (ETF) of $20 per remaining month on your contract. However, this fee will be waived if you move outside the provider’s service area. There are no cancellation fees on variable-rate plans.

  • Yes. 4Change Energy, like most providers, performs a credit check to understand your credit and utility payment history. If you’d rather skip the credit check, look into electric companies that offer no-deposit and prepaid plans.
