4Change Energy plans
You can find several 4Change Energy plans on the SaveOnEnergy marketplace, including the ones listed below. For fixed-rate plans, there is an early termination fee (ETF) if you cancel your plan before it expires (the fee is $20 per remaining month on your contract).
Maxx Saver Select 12 and 24
If you choose one of these fixed-rate plans, you’ll lock in your energy rate for either a year (Maxx Saver Select 12) or two years (Maxx Saver Select 24). You’ll also earn a $100 bill credit for every month that you use at least 1,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity.
One Rate 12 and 24
These are another pair of fixed-rate plans, available in 12-month and 24-month contracts. The price per kWh is tiered, and decreases as your usage goes up. For example, the per-kWh cost of electricity is at its highest if you use 500 kWh per month but decreases if you use 1,000 kWh. It reduces even further if you use 2,000 kWh or more.
Smart Thermostat 24
This fixed-rate, two-year plan comes with a Honeywell T9 Smart Thermostat to help you track your energy consumption. It also includes a $50 bill credit for each month that you use 1,000 kWh or more.

SaveOnEnergy’s tips for easy electricity service setup
Don’t forget to read your plan’s EFL before signing up. It contains important information, including:
- Price per kWh based on usage
- Percentage of renewable energy
- Early termination fees
Enjoy hassle-free supplier setup. Once you receive an order confirmation, your new supplier will set up service with your electric provider or transmission and distribution service provider (TDSP) — but don’t worry, your power should not be interrupted during the switch.
Understand your electricity bill. Your local TDSP will still deliver your electricity and maintain electric infrastructure including meters and power lines. Your electric supplier fees will be TDU or TDSP charges on your monthly bill. They are independent of your supplier rate.
How to move or transfer service with 4Change Energy
Planning a move within Texas? It’s easy to transfer your 4Change Energy service. Just reach out to the company with your new address at least two days before your move (but two weeks’ notice is preferable). If you’re relocating outside the 4Change Energy service area, the provider should waive your cancellation fee.
4Change Energy electric rates in my area
Several factors influence the price you pay for electricity, including utility transmission charges and local taxes and fees. As a result, you might pay a different rate than someone in the next city over — even if you have the same plan. This is why it’s important to use your ZIP code when searching for electricity rates and picking a plan.
