Many providers require a deposit before starting service, including Chariot Energy. If you do not meet specific credit score requirements, you may have to pay a deposit. Alternatively, you can sign up for a no-deposit or prepaid energy plan with the SaveOnEnergy marketplace.
Yes. Chariot Energy’s fixed-rate plans come with an early termination fee of $15 per month for each remaining month on your contract. This does not apply if you move outside of Chariot Energy’s service area.
Log into your Chariot Energy account to pay your bill. Alternatively, you can call 1-855-524-2746 or mail payment to their address. The address will be on your billing statements.
Yes. Chariot Energy runs a soft credit check during the application process. It does not impact your credit score. However, if you do not want to go through that, you can choose a prepaid or no-deposit plan instead.
