Chariot Energy FAQs

  • Many providers require a deposit before starting service, including Chariot Energy. If you do not meet specific credit score requirements, you may have to pay a deposit. Alternatively, you can sign up for a no-deposit or prepaid energy plan with the SaveOnEnergy marketplace.

  • Yes. Chariot Energy’s fixed-rate plans come with an early termination fee of $15 per month for each remaining month on your contract. This does not apply if you move outside of Chariot Energy’s service area.

  • Log into your Chariot Energy account to pay your bill. Alternatively, you can call 1-855-524-2746 or mail payment to their address. The address will be on your billing statements.

  • Yes. Chariot Energy runs a soft credit check during the application process. It does not impact your credit score. However, if you do not want to go through that, you can choose a prepaid  or no-deposit plan instead.
